435 Outdoorz Youth Adventure Co. is a family-owned organization based in Southern Utah, committed to inspiring young people to explore, learn, and build meaningful connections with the outdoors. Founded by Tami Shugart, who brings over 25 years of experience working with youth, this organization delivers year‑round outdoor adventures tailored for kids aged roughly 7‑14 and for homeschool learners in grades 4‑8.
At the heart of their offerings is BaseCamp, a specialized adventure series designed for homeschool students. Meeting twice a month during the school year, BaseCamp takes learners off‑screen into natural settings—hiking slot canyons, scrambling over lava rock, exploring desert trails, and studying geology, flora, and trail safety. With small group sizes (maximum of eight per trip), each outing aims to balance education, exploration, and social connection.
Outside of BaseCamp, 435 Outdoorz organizes a wide variety of events and day‑trips for youth, including kayaking, floating rivers, snowshoeing, exploring caves, waterfall hikes, and more.
