Concord Family Academy: A Christ-Centered Homeschool Community Rooted in Purpose and Connection
Concord Family Academy is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit homeschool co-op based in Midvale, Utah, committed to building strong, spiritually grounded families through heart-based, Christ-centered education. At our core is a belief that thriving families begin with empowered, supported mothers. By fostering growth in motherhood, education, community, and marriage, we help women lead their families with love, purpose, and divine guidance.
We provide a structured yet flexible learning environment inspired by the Well-Educated Heart (WEH) philosophy, Thomas Jefferson Education (TJEd), and LEMI. Our approach also incorporates time-tested principles from Waldorf, Montessori, and Charlotte Mason educational methods. Homeroom discussions and classes follow meaningful monthly themes, creating continuity between home and co-op learning.
Concord is not a drop-off program—it is a hands-on, high-involvement community. Every mother in our academy teaches, serves on committees, and contributes her time and talents to enrich the experience for all members. We believe in the power of shared responsibility, genuine connection, and intentional living. This commitment ensures that each child is nurtured by a community of loving, like-minded families.
Our values are deeply rooted in restored gospel principles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and while we welcome families of all backgrounds, our language, standards, and teachings reflect those beliefs.
With over 30 participating families and more than 100 children, Concord Family Academy offers 40+ annual classes and countless opportunities for growth, learning, and faith-centered connection. If you’re seeking a place to belong, contribute, and grow as a mother and disciple of Christ, we welcome you to explore our community.
