The Heritage Youth Choirs at American Heritage School’s Salt Lake City campus offer aspiring young singers a deeply enriching, faith-centered choral experience. Designed to cultivate both musical excellence and spiritual growth, the program features four ensembles tailored to different age groups and skill levels, providing accessible opportunities whether students are beginners or advanced singers.
Participants receive expert choral instruction from professional music educators, refining vocal technique while engaging deeply with meaningful, gospel-inspired choral literature. Choir members from both the Salt Lake City and American Fork campuses regularly unite for enriching performances, events, and an inspiring summer touring experience.
The Heritage Youth Chorus, the touring ensemble, collaborates with prominent artists and frequently performs on Temple Square, in addition to offering fireside-style programs at Latter-day Saint stakes across the country. Beyond local tours, the program includes an Extended Choir option for youth globally—selected through auditions to join national or international tours.
