Your support funds groundbreaking research, creates awareness, improves care, and ensures a future in which everyone has the chance to heal and thrive.

The Huntsman Mental Health Foundation (HMHF) is a nonprofit organization committed to transforming mental health care through innovation, advocacy, education, and compassionate support. Backed by the Huntsman family legacy, HMHF funds groundbreaking research, supports improved treatment access, raises awareness, and strengthens communities affected by mental health challenges.

Mental health issues affect 1 in 5 Americans each year, yet access to care remains limited for many. With over 67 million Americans impacted and 280 million people globally affected by depression—the leading cause of disability—the need for change is urgent. Suicide remains one of the leading causes of death in the U.S., claiming more than 50,000 lives annually. The Huntsman Mental Health Foundation is working to change these statistics.

HMHF supports the Huntsman Mental Health Institute and other partners working at the front lines of mental health. Our focus spans four key areas: research, education, treatment, and community impact. Together, these pillars create a path forward for those struggling, while reshaping the broader mental health landscape.

Through your donations, we fund life-saving programs and initiatives that bring hope and healing to individuals and families. Whether it’s helping someone access therapy, supporting crisis response efforts, or fueling new scientific discoveries, your contribution makes a direct and lasting impact.

Join us in creating a future where mental health is treated with the same urgency and compassion as physical health—where everyone has the chance to heal and thrive.
