Independent Education Program offers high-quality classes for homeschool teens—like Speech & Debate, English, Robotics, and more—online and across Utah.

We strengthen what you’ve already built at home—while helping your teen rise to meet what comes next.

The Independent Education Program exists to support homeschool families with high-quality, flexible learning for teens. We know that as students grow, their academic needs become more complex—and it can be hard to find consistent, rigorous content that still honors the freedom and values of home education.

That’s where we come in.

Our classes are designed to help students think deeply and develop real-world skills. Whether they’re learning the structure of the U.S. Constitution, exploring classic literature, preparing for the ACT, building a robot, or launching a business, they’re being taught by instructors who care about both content and character. Our team includes experienced educators and mentors who understand homeschooling because they’ve lived it.

Families can register for just one class or several, depending on their goals and schedules. All classes are available online, and many are also offered in person across Utah. We work with individual families, homeschool co-ops, and independent schools to provide courses that are both academically strong and values-respecting.

At the heart of our program is a commitment to active learning, respectful classrooms, and personal growth. We believe students learn best when they’re challenged, supported, and given space to take ownership of their education.
