LTD Horsemanship, LLC is a family-owned horse barn located in Plain City, Utah, operated by experienced equestrian Talia Dodd, who brings over two decades of multi-disciplinary expertise to her training. The facility offers a range of equine services—including boarding, lessons, and horse training—all guided by a heartfelt, relationship-centered philosophy.

Rather than traditional “riding lessons,” LTD emphasizes “sessions”—a holistic approach that immerses both youth and adult learners in full-spectrum horsemanship. Students are taught how to groom, tack up, ride (or work from the ground), untack, and feed their horses, as well as engage in groundwork like roundpen and in-hand exercises—because true horsemanship begins with understanding and respect for the horse.

These sessions go deeper than physical skills. They help students build leadership, communication, self-awareness, accountability, confidence, patience, persistence, and physical benefits like balance, coordination, and improved reflexes—lessons that are applicable well beyond the barn.

For riders seeking discipline-specific instruction, LTD offers English and Western lessons, covering areas like Western Pleasure, Ranch Riding, Hunter Pleasure, Horsemanship, Sport Horse, and even Speed Events. They also offer mobile lessons—bringing instruction directly to the student and horse, for an additional travel fee.
