The City of Saratoga Springs Recreation Department is dedicated to building positive experiences by offering a wide variety of high-quality recreational programs designed to nurture physical, emotional, and social development in a safe, inclusive setting.
Families can easily register online for activities via the city’s registration portal, accessible on both desktop and mobile devices—making sign-up convenient and straightforward.
Youth Programs span a diverse array of sports and camps, including instructional baseball and basketball (Jr. Jazz) for younger learners, youth leagues spanning grades up to high school, summer camps such as Game Changers and Westlake sports camps, plus offerings like tennis, soccer, street hockey, track & field, cross country, golf lessons, fishing lessons, and flag football.
Inclusivity is a priority—adaptive programs are tailored for youth with intellectual disabilities, featuring coed soccer, pickleball, and volleyball leagues with modified rules, coaching support, and safe, structured environments.
Adult participants can choose from men’s basketball, pickleball (clinics, leagues, tournaments), coed and men’s softball, and various volleyball formats (indoor/outdoor, women’s, coed)—all designed to promote connection, wellness, and active living.
The department also manages facility rentals, game schedules, policies, and volunteer resources, while providing regular scheduling calendars and communications to keep everyone informed.
Staffed by energetic professionals—including a Recreation Director and Coordinators—operating weekdays at their facility behind Public Works, the department fosters a community where fun, personal growth, and safe recreation come together for all ages.
