Young Scholars Academy – Where Neurodivergent and Curious Kids Thrive
Young Scholars Academy (YSA) is an inclusive virtual learning community designed especially for neurodivergent, twice-exceptional (2e), and curious learners ages 5–18. With a focus on personalized instruction, emotional safety, and joyful curiosity, YSA creates a place where students feel understood, supported, and excited to learn.
Families from around the world turn to YSA when traditional learning environments fall short. Through live weekly courses, daily summer camps, and self-paced classes, learners dive into topics they love—from executive function and robotics to theatre, Dungeons & Dragons, science, and more. Each course is led by a passionate mentor committed to nurturing both academic growth and emotional well-being.
What makes YSA different? Our values-based approach. We focus on connection, confidence-building, and helping students recognize their strengths. Whether your child is formally diagnosed or simply struggles to fit the mold of conventional education, YSA welcomes them with open arms—no labels required.
Our flipped-classroom model and flexible scheduling allow families to adapt learning to their lives. And the results speak for themselves: over 90% of families stay with YSA for a full year, and 93% report their child is noticeably happier after joining.
Founded by educator Sam Young, M.Ed., YSA is more than just school—it’s a virtual village where learners are celebrated for who they are.
